scripting
It would be a great idea to add scripting support. In this way it would easier to setup cases that requires repetitive inputs and also it would be possible to run parametric studies.

Not sure about the Caedium level, but OpenFOAM is pretty easy...
I have just this scenario at the moment - doing things more or less manually by scripting OpenFOAM ("OpenFlow") from cygwin, as the cluster I'm using runs Windows...
