To avoid the error "shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: Operation not permitted" on Mac OS X you need to give /bin/sh Full Disk Access to enable Caedium solvers and utilities to run in the background. Follow the procedure:

1. Select System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Full Disk Access
2. Click the lock to make changes
3. Click '+'
4. Press 'cmd + Shift + .' to show hidden files
5. select /bin/sh
