Rising ball of burning gas and affects of wind

I'm working on a project for my supervisor. I'm to look into a burning ball of gas (supposed to represent a dust explosion). The burning ball will be rising due to convection into the atmosphere. My supervisor wants to know the velocity at which it will rise and the affects of winds of different velocities on it. Is it possible to model this sort of behavior in Caedium?
Hot ball of air instead
You could simulate an equivalent hot ball of air using initial conditions to set the temperature of a ball within a multi-volume flow domain. However, this would require an advanced level of understanding of Caedium likely beyond the scope of the trial and requiring a paid license for detailed instructions.
Caedium can not simulate the explosion, that would require combustion modeling.
