Wrong scale factor?
Submitted by RG on May 5, 2011 - 03:17
Hi,
I've just download Caedium Prof 32 bit trial version, I tried to run a simulation around a simply model with panel solver. I started to import my stp geometry created by Catia unit [mm] so when I display the ruler I can see that It read the [m].
If I set, by the preference menu the unit as mm, all work well except ( in my opinion) the results. they seems, at least, be calculated with a bad scale factor.
Is It a 32bit version bug, or I didn't work well?
and If is a older version bug, is the 64 bit runnable on xp 32bit?
thanks in advance, RG
Need to Scale Geometry
We no longer support the 32-bit version of Caedium, but yes there is a scaling bug for imported geometry. Changing the length units to mm, will not help. You need to scale the geometry in Caedium using the Transforms->Scale tool on the Geometry Tool Palette:
No the 64-bit version will not work on a 32-bit system.
