Parallel CFD Simulation of a Racecar

Parallel CFD simulation of a Racecar. The original 5 million cell mesh came courtesy of Advantage CFD, who released this case into the public domain. The 64-bit version of Caedium for Windows performed the parallel simulation on a laptop equipped with an Intel i7 processor (8 cores, though only 6 were used by Caedium) and 6 GB of RAM (with room to spare for other applications), running Windows 7 64-bit. The image shows streamlines colored by velocity magnitude and a semi-transparent car body also colored by velocity magnitude.
