Symscape and Caedium recently hit the headlines in an article by Jeffrey Rowe for Cadalyst entitled Analysis for the Masses with CAE 2.0. The article draws parallels between the Web 2.0 movement, typified by websites such as YouTube, and our Computer-Aided Engineering for All mantra.
We are pleased to announce the release of Caedium v1.1.0. Caedium is our freely available foundation and viewer for our expandable Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) system. Caedium incorporates advanced interactive 3D visualization.
The Caedium Panel Flow add-on simulates gas (e.g. air) or liquid (e.g. water) flow around and through your design, helping you view the physical effects of the fluid on your design and vice versa.
Caedium (without any add-ons) is our free Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) unified simulation environment. This free download functions as a viewer for Caedium files and allows you to get a feel for Caedium's easy-to-use interface and capabilities. It is ideal for interactive viewing and sharing of sym and brep 3D models files.
