Racecar Engineering Features Caedium
In the January 2011 edition of Racecar Engineering there is a feature article on Caedium by Simon McBeath. The article highlights the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) capabilities of Caedium and the motivation behind it.
"Is this CFD software for the engineering masses? We investigate a low cost, potent and user-friendly CFD package from Symscape," says McBeath early on to set the scene for the article.
Specifically the article suggests that Caedium might be a good match, in terms of features and pricing, for small racing teams on limited budgets, who previously thought CFD was too complex and expensive to satisfy their needs.
McBeath states that Caedium contains "all the basics you would expect of a good CFD package, and a little bit more."
